Sudoc and ‘58 Foundations Launch Partnership

Sudoc and ‘58 Foundations Launch Partnership to Bring Innovative Mold Stain Cleaning Technology to 11 States

Sudoc, a different kind of chemical company, and ’58 Foundations, a leader in remediation and cleaning services, announce a long-term partnership to bring Dilute Oxidation Technology, recently recognized by Fast Company magazine as a World Changing Idea, to 11 states.

Sudoc has developed Dilute Oxidation Technology – or Dot – to dramatically reduce the amount of chemical burden involved with cleaning mold stains. Today, most companies involved with mold remediation and cleaning use highly toxic products that can be harmful to the worker and leave behind a high chemical burden for the homeowner. Dot is a highly effective, sustainable alternative that uses a fraction of the chemical content (1/28th) of other products. Dot uses a patent-protected molecule called NT7 that mimics an enzyme found in the human liver to  supercharge chemical reactions. This means Dot products have strong performance with dramatically less chemical content.

Roger Berry, CEO of Sudoc, commented: “We are proud to bring Dilute Oxidation Technology to 11 new markets through our partnership with’58 Foundations. Kevin and his forward-looking team are committed to providing superior services for their customers and take deep care in every product they choose. It is an honor that they have chosen Dot. It is our mission to reduce chemical burden through the development of excellent products so a partnership of this scale with ’58 Foundations means we are having immediate impact for many workers and households. We look forward to growing with’58 Foundations so together we can support excellent cleaning services with far less chemical.”

For more than 60 years, ’58 Foundations has provided the highest-quality basement waterproofing, crawlspace encapsulation, foundation repair, and mold removal solutions for homes and commercial properties. The company leads with a promise of Trusted Five-Star Service, which means the customer experience is at the center of everything they do. Since 1958, the company has been steadfast in keeping this promise and in upholding the values on which ’58 Foundations was built: trust, teamwork, integrity, respect and communication.

Kevin Coppersmith, CEO of ’58 Foundations, stated, “We have been following Sudoc and its Dot Cleaner brand since they were selected by Chemical & Engineering News for their Top Ten Start-Ups to Watch award and then they were named a World Changing Idea by Fast Company. Those are big awards for a new company so we decided to run our own tests. Dot products are truly extraordinary and use a fraction of the chemical content. That is a perfect fit for our mission to use sustainable, non-intrusive products to support our Five-Star Service. But ultimately the test for us is that it has to work exceptionally well and that is what won us over with Dot.”
